Andrew Robinson（アンドリュー）

Hello, my name’s Andrew. I’m from New Zealand, the land of The Lord of the Rings, big insects and sheep…lots and lots of sheep. I came to Tokyo in June of 2007 and love the fast paced nature of the place. I’m very passionate about music and theatre and perform and watch as much as I can. English Now is a comfortable environment for children to have fun with English, and it’s a joy to be able to teach and watch them grow.

こんにちわ、アンドリューです。ロード・オブ・ザ・リングの舞台であり、大きな昆虫や大量の羊がいることで有名なニュージーランドから来ました。東京には２００７年の６月に来ましたが、日本の季節の変化の速さとその美しさに感動しています。音楽や演劇の鑑賞が大好きで、ひまを見つけては観に行っています。イングリッシュ・ナウには、子供たちが英語を楽しむ良い環境が整っています。私も、その環境の中で子供たちに英語を教え、皆さんの成長を見ることができて、とても嬉しく思っています。

Talia Brunelle（タリア）

U.S.A. - Seattle

Hello everyone! I'm Talia. My home town is Seattle. Do you know Seattle? We are famous for Ichiro of the Mariners baseball team and Starbucks Coffee. When I'm not teaching, I like to read books, cook meals for friends, and to relax on my sofa at home. My parents are both language teachers, so I developed an interest in teaching and actually began teaching private music lessons when I was a high school student in the U.S.A. At English Now, I enjoy the interactions I have with students, their parents, and with the wonderful and supportive staff and teachers. I hope that someday, you can come by our school and say "Hello!" to all of us here.

こんにちは、はじめまして。タリアです。実家はアメリカ、ワシントン州のシアトルです。シアトルって聞いたことありますか？町の人気者はマリナーズのイチロー、それに、スターバックスコーヒーの生まれた町です。お休みの日には読書と料理するのが好きです。もちろん家のソファでリラックスするのもかかせないです。私の両親は二人共語学の教師であり、私は幼い頃から教える事に興味を持ち、高校生の時はアメリカで音楽をプライベートで教え始めました。現在、イングリッシュ・ナウへ通う生徒達とその保護者達とのコミュニケーションは毎日楽しくて、他の先生達やスタッフのサポートもとても心強いです。近くにいらしたら、こちらのスクールにぜひいらしてください。元気に「ハロー！」と声かけてくださいね！

Patsy Yuen（パッツィ）

Hi! I was born in Hong Kong but my family moved to Sydney, Australia when I was 6 months old. After graduating from university in Sydney, I have worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Thailand. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading and going to the beach. Teaching at English Now has been a fantastic opportunity to meet people. The children at English Now have boundless energy and are so much fun to work with. Watching their English progress from learning the basic A,B,Cs to being able to converse and read has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.

こんにちは、私は香港生まれで、オーストラリアのシドニーで育ちました。シドニーで大学を卒業後、オーストラリア、香港、タイで働きました。休日には、読書や旅行、ビーチに行くことが好きです。イングリシュナウの生徒達はとても元気で、いつも楽しくレッスンを行っています。生徒達の英語の上達は、今までに味わったことのない達成感を与えてくれます。

Shoko Nakahara（ショウコ）

Hello! I am Shoko. I was born in Tokyo and lived in Washington DC when I was 3 years old for ４ years and graduated university in NY. I love going shopping and taking my dog (white shiba inu) for a walk. He is really cute! I like working at English Now and it is great to see the students coming here with a big smiley faces and always being surprised with the students’ English skills. Please say “Hi” if you see me!

Hi, this is Masae. Welcome to the English Now website! I am pretty busy being a Mom at home everyday. I majored in American literature at university, so if I had enough time, I would love to read and write poetry again. Kids are wonderful! When I teach, I always try to be sympathetic to how they feel. Are they happy, sad, timid…why? When they feel accepted and confident, they start to express themselves to me. Kids at English Now often fool around in class, but in English with a big smile! They like to act silly with us, and it is in English. That’s nice, isn’t it?

こんにちは、マサエです。イングリッシュナウのサイトへようこそ。 家に帰ると母として忙しい毎日です。学生時代は米文学を専攻していましたので、時間が取れたらまた英詩を読んだり書いたりしたいなあと思っています。 子ども達って素晴らしい。英語を教える、というより先に私は彼らの気持ちに共感するよう努めています。楽しい、悲しい、恥ずかしい？どうして？？子どもたちは気持ちを受け入れられた、と感じ、自信を持つと自分から表現し始めます。イングリッシュナウの子ども達は教室でおふざけだってします。でも、笑顔で｢英語で｣！英語を使って、講師たちをも楽しませようとしてくれるんですよ。素敵でしょ？

Lily Takahashi (リリ)

Hello everyone! My name is Lily Takahashi. I was born in Argentina, and lived in England and the US for over12 years. I have lived close to Mejiro since I came back. Other than work, I enjoy traveling, swimming and playing golf. I am really excited to be a part of "English Now" and can't wait to enjoy studying English with the children. I will mainly be teaching the graders but please say hi! if you see me in class!

みなさん、こんにちは。高橋Lilyです。アルゼンチンで生まれ、その後イギリスやアメリカなどに計12年住んでいました。 帰国してからはずっと目白近辺に住んでいます。仕事以外では、旅行、水泳、ゴルフをするのが好きです。この度、イングリッシュ・ナウの一員になれて非常にうれしいです。子供たちと一緒に英語の勉強をすることを楽しみにしています。主に小学生クラスを教えることになりますが、教室で見かけたら是非声をかけてください。
